What HappenedOn February 18, 1965 in Selma, Alabama the civil rights movement was boiling at the seams. The peaceful protest is getting hindered by local authority. The movement was picking up speed and the local police department didn't like that. A march had started. The fire was lit and the authorities fought them. Jimmy was brutally beaten and then shot by State Trooper Bonard Fowler.
